INFRARED HEATING PANEL WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for purchasing your infrared heating panels from Energy Tech Electronics Pty Ltd trading as Heat-On Systems.
Our products are designed and built for long-term reliable operation when installed and used correctly. The following Warranty Terms & Conditions explain your warranty coverage and responsibilities as the purchaser.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty Coverage
Heat-On Systems warrants that your infrared heating panel is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period stated on your invoice or quotation documentation.
During the warranty period, we will repair or replace defective components or products at our discretion where a valid warranty claim is approved.
Installation Requirements
For safety, performance, and warranty purposes, all infrared heating panels must be installed strictly in accordance with:
- The manufacturer’s installation instructions;
- Supplied wiring diagrams;
- Applicable Australian Standards and local regulations; and
- Instructions provided by Heat-On Systems
Failure to install the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications or wiring diagrams may result in unsafe operation and will void the warranty.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by:
- Incorrect installation or wiring;
- Failure to follow installation or operating instructions;
- Misuse, abuse, accidental damage, or neglect;
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs;
- Power surges, electrical faults, or incorrect voltage supply;
- Water damage, corrosion, or exposure to unsuitable environments;
- Normal cosmetic wear and tear;
- Damage caused during transport, relocation, or improper storage.
Maintenance & Care
Infrared heating panels are designed to be low maintenance; however, the heating panels should be kept clean and free from dust and oil build-up.
Do not cover the heater or operate it in a manner outside the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact Heat-On Systems with:
- Proof of purchase;
- Product model and serial number (if applicable);
- Installation details; and
- A description of the issue.
We may request photos, videos, or further information to assist with diagnosis before approving a claim.
Important Notes
Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only.
Any repair or replacement provided under warranty does not extend the original warranty period.
Heat-On Systems is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use or failure of the product, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
